From the bottom of my heart, or rather my whole heart, thank you for all you have done for me, medically as well as administratively – from the first consultation to the last hug. I have always maintained that doctors are the Lord’s instruments through whom He does His medical work. Thank you so much for having been prepared to be my personal medical instruments.

Hi Dr KrugerI just wanted to say a big thank you to both you, Dr Jeffery and Jana for treating me in the most professional, kind and compassionate manner. When I first visited you, I was totally bewildered and frightened. I was convinced I had a prolapse of sorts but nobody would listen. Every women knows her body and it’s comforting to know that there are Doctors around who listen to their patients concerns and take the time to answer their questions without fobbing them off.
Laparoscopic myomectomy:
The first gynaecologist I went to see recommended removal of my fibroids by abdominal myomectomy, she felt that due to the size (the largest was about 10cm), quantity (about 7 of them) and location, that this was the best option for me. However, I was worried about the invasiveness of the surgery, as well as the long recovery time of about 6-8weeks. I did some research and figured there may be other options available to me, and decided to seek a second option from ULC.
I initially met with Dr. Jeffery, after the examination and assessment, he confirmed confidently that I was the right candidate for a laparoscopic myomectomy – among the advantages was that it was minimally invasive and recovery would be about 2-4 weeks. I went home, but still had several questions, which I typed out, and sent via email. They responded quickly to my message, and asked me to come in so that they could answer all my queries fully, at no extra cost.
I met with Dr Kruger for that second consultation, he went through my questions one at a time, very carefully making sure I fully understood the process, and responded to all my queries, and he put my mind at ease. I immediately booked for my surgery after that meeting. After the surgery, I was back at work two weeks later. Through it all, ULC provided an absolutely fantastic professional service, I made the right decision, and I am feeling great!

BLADDER CONTROL AT LAST!
My grateful thanks to Drs. Jeffrey and Kruger. I was suffering from the effects of a prolapse in the vagina, not sure whether it was my bladder or uterus. My Gynaecologist suggested that I wait for two Urogynaecologists to start practice. I am so thankful for that advice. I was put into the hands of experts in this field, the ideal combination for my complaint.
A Sacrocolpopexy was suggested. A procedure done under general anaesthetic , I was ready for discharge 3 days later.
I was pain free I did not need any analgesics during recovery, I had a hysterectomy at the same time.
I am indebted to a wonderful team, Drs. Jeffery and Kruger performed the operation together, I had full confidence and peace of mind.
And I have BLADDER CONTROL!!
