Suffering from an Overactive Bladder?

Sacral neuromodulation is a relatively new and very effective treatment for overactive bladder. Recent studies show a marked improvement in 75% of patients.
The treatment involves the placement of a small “pacemaker/battery” near the sacral nerve that sends signals to the brain to modify the overactivity of the bladder.
The advantage is that the battery lasts 3-5 years before needing replacement.
This treatment is reserved for patients that have failed medication (anti-cholinergic treatment).
Dr. Kruger recently returned from Erlangen, Germany where he completed a course in sacral neuromodulation.
